Brand deals are a creator's primary income — but the more deals you land, the more time you spend on operations instead of content. Checking emails, negotiating terms, tracking payments — it all piles up as your channel grows. 영이, a fashion and beauty creator on Instagram, reached exactly that tipping point.
How did you manage before Kinni?
영이 was handling every aspect of brand collaborations on her own. It was manageable when inquiries were few, but as they grew, responding to each email and DM individually became exhausting.
When she had outside schedules or was mid-shoot, she couldn't respond promptly — and missed opportunities. Without visibility into market rates, she was always at a disadvantage in fee negotiations and deal terms.
Payment tracking was even harder. Every deal had a different payment date, and just keeping track of them all took considerable time.
“As inquiries piled up, replying to every email and DM became exhausting. I had no way to know market rates, so I was always at a disadvantage. And every deal had a different payment date — keeping track of it all was really tough.
Were you hesitant at first?
She wasn't fully convinced from the start. She had never used a service like this before, and since it was relatively new, she had doubts about how much it could actually help.
But she was already past the point of managing everything alone, and unlike an MCN, the fees weren't high. She decided to give it a test run.
“The fees aren't as high as an MCN, and I was already beyond what I could handle alone — so I figured I'd just try it out.
What changed the most?
First, her morning routine changed. She used to start every day by wading through multiple long emails. Now, irrelevant categories like group buys are filtered out automatically, and only the deals that matter arrive as message summaries.
Second, her ad rates improved. Kinni negotiated rates upward from her previous baseline — in the past month alone, 5+ deals were closed at higher rates.
“Irrelevant deal inquiries get filtered out automatically, and only the ones that matter come through as summaries on my phone. It's so much easier now.
Did you see a measurable difference?
The higher rates were significant, but the bigger win was time. With less time spent communicating directly with brands, she could focus more on content work — planning and editing.
Payment tracking improved noticeably too. She gets reminders on payment day, so there's no need to separately track different dates or cross-reference bank statements line by line.
“I get payment-day reminders now, so I no longer waste time cross-referencing bank statements one by one.

Any advice for creators in a similar situation?
“The benefits clearly outweigh the cost. No matter how much someone tells you it's good, you have to experience it yourself to really know — so if you've had the same frustrations I did, I'd recommend trying it for even just a month or two!
What creators need isn't just an inbox organizer. It's a partner who makes sure no important deal slips through, connects you with better terms, and keeps the payment flow running smoothly. For 영이, Kinni was the partner that took brand deal operations off her plate and gave her back the time to focus on what matters most.
